Jackie Mangandi
Jackie Mangandi is an associate at Monterey Law Firm PLLC. Mrs. Mangandi focuses on immigration, especially removal defense. Her practice also includes criminal defense.
Mrs. Mangandi graduated cum laude from Harding University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2017. During her time at Harding University, she was an intern for Judge Craig Hannah with the White County Circuit Court and was a member of the Criminal Justice Association. After graduation, she attended William H. Bowen School of Law and received her J.D. in 2020.
While in law school, Mrs. Mangandi was a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association, now referred to as the Latin American Law Student Association. She was elected the Most Outstanding Member during the 2019-2020 academic year. Mrs. Mangandi has volunteered in numerous clinics and events that focused on assisting low-income individuals. Mrs. Mangandi was a volunteer law intern with the Legal Aid of Arkansas, specifically with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Medical-Legal Partnership Program. Additionally, she contributed to the Arkansas Works Outreach Program. She was awarded the Dean’s Certificate of Distinguished Service Award in 2019. After accepting a law clerk position at James Law Firm, she became an attorney assistant where she gained experience in traffic, domestic violence, drug, and other serious felony cases before becoming an associate attorney. She joined Monterrey Law Firm in June of 2022.
Mrs. Mangandi is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Arkansas Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
