Kathryn A. Loyd Wilson
Kathryn A. Loyd Wilson (“Katy”) is an associate at Monterrey Law Firm PLLC. Mrs. Wilson focuses on immigration law issues.
Mrs. Wilson graduated from Benton High School in 2002 and went on to attend Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology in 2006 and a M.S. in Emergency Management and Homeland Security in 2009.
After working for the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management for two years, Mrs. Wilson received a full scholarship to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (“UALR”) Bowen School of Law and graduated Cum Laude in 2015. She graduated from UALR with a Master of Public Administration degree in 2016.
While in law school, Mrs. Wilson served as president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and secretary of the Bowen chapter of Law Students for Reproductive Justice. She clerked for the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, was an extern for the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, and worked for Justice Robin F. Wynne at the Arkansas Supreme Court. Prior to coming to work for the Monterrey Law Firm in January of 2017, Mrs. Wilson worked as a law clerk for Justice Karen Baker at the Arkansas Supreme Court.
Mrs. Wilson is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
